Ballistic Bookbag - Affordable self defense
bookbag starting at only $225.00

How much is your child's safety worth?

Finally there is a product that will help you take an active step towards safeguarding yourself and the people you care about from shooting incidents.

Now you can provide on the spot protection against guns and knife violence!

Since 1999 over 328 incidents have occurred, leaving 229 dead and 422 injured in school violence alone. That is an average of about 1 per week since the Columbine Tragedy. In almost 97% of these documented incidents, MJ Safety Solutions backpack could have provided the ballistic protection that could have saved lives.

This backpack can provide life saving defense for anyone: school children, educators, journalists and tourists to name a few. This is a full size, ultra leightweight backpack packed with features to make it practical for everyone.

Our children already live with these thoughts every day. School systems across the nation are staging drills for "lock downs" and "shelter in place."

Act now to give your children a personal, defensive safety tool that will help them feel more confident and able to focus on learning. Isn't that what school should really be about?

  1. IS this Serious?
If so, there is a serious problem, when they would rather train a child up to live in guerilla warfare, then do the right thing and take them OUT!

"Come Out of Her", I believe was the passage..?

I posted one about Canaduh this morning, and their education system.

This opens the door.. WHO OWNS YOU? YOUR KIDS?
    and
DO YOU KNOW THE TRUE MEANING OF LIBERTY?

I would venture that most people don't.

  3. A survey of teacher's in 1942 said the most annoying problem a teacher had to deal with was 'gum chewing'.

65 years (and several supreme court decisions) later: Mass shootings. Gang violence. Metal detectors. Security guards. And, now, BP back packs.

Golly. Those government schools sure are doing a bang-up job. Literally.

Tell me again how that 'take prayer & bibles out of school' thing is working out??

  4. Bob - I couldn't stop laughing when I saw this on the news the other day. I love how the guy who designed it says, "I wanna keep my kid safe, I don't care what you do, but my kids will safe because he's carrying a bulletproof backpack." ROTFL

More like reason #163,000,000 to home school your kids...

  5. LB - You're right. I just happen to have that list handy.

In November of 1993 U.S. News & World Report had an article reporting what teachers said the top school disciplinary problems were in 1940 verses 1990:

    1940
    Chewing gum
    Talking-out-of-turn
    Making noise
    Running in the halls
    Cutting in line
    Dress-code violations

    1990
    Assault
    Robbery
    Drug abuse
    Alcohol
    Suicide
    Pregnancy

Of course, now we can add school shootings, stabbings, gang violence, drug dealing, pornography, along with rape and child molestation; committed by teachers and students alike.

Coincidentally, God and prayer were removed from the public school in the 1960’s. Hmmm?

  6. OMG, so true. And did you know that billions of people die every year after leaving their front doors? That's why I just stay indoors all day long every day. Why risk it?

It's just so great to sit inside, thinking about how the world is such a scary violent place! I love it!

By the way, my dog sneezed shortly before 9/11. Coincidence??! Hmmmm!

This is why I get her cold medicine now.

What? The world is a much safer place now than it was a few decades ago? Shut up! That doesn't fit with my delusions so I'm not listening! LA LA LA!

  7. Phronk - Public schools in America are different than in Canada.

Anyway, I actually think the guys who designed these bulletproof backpacks have the right idea. While they may be dumb enough to keep sending their own kids to public school, it is brilliant to capitalize on the fear and laziness of stupid parents by exploiting their paranoia and giving them a false sense of security thinking they can actually buy their kids safety for only $175 bucks. HA!

The chances of actually being shot and killed at school may not that high, but I love my kids too much to risk losing their lives while receiving a government education. Plus, I highly doubt Brian Rohrbough, father of Daniel Rohrbough who was shot and killed at Columbine High School or any of the other hundreds of parents who have lost their children to school shootings thought it could ever happen to them.

Not to mention that being shot and killed is only a small fraction of the problem. There are thousands of other safety reasons to never send your kids to a public school.

  8. So this isn't Tongue - In- Cheek? It's Real?!

Their homework will be safe, while they bleed to death...DUH!

I suppose an interesting question might be: Are your children at any more risk of dying while crossing the street or in a violent home invasion than they would be of dying in a high school shooting? If the answer is no, or you don't actually know what the differences in probability are, then this particular reason for homeschooling your kids is arbitrary and meaningless.

  10. Uber - I'm not sure what the statistics are, but I'm sure my kids could slip on the floor and crack their head open or fall out of our apple tree and die too as oppossed to getting shot and killed at school. By now I hope you already know that this particular reason is not why I choose to homeschool my kids. My primary reason is based on moral and religious convictions, the safety aspect is only a side issue.

I just think it's amusing that a bulletproof backpack even exists and is in such high demand by paranoid parents. Just goes to show that being shot at school is a very real danger in today's society.
